We loaded up the van on Canada Day with boxes of the new CD and two months' worth of clothes and gear. Beth, Colin and I left our home in Ayer's Cliff, Quebec in a thunderstorm and high winds. Paris and London (Ontario that is) are the next stops after spending yesterday in Lindsay. Just getting in visits with family before our big western festival tour. Today our final destination is a trip to Point Pelee National Park with our older daughters, Amy and Julia, before heading back to Toronto then North. Mariposa, in Orillia, is the first festival of our season. I am looking forward to meeting up with friends Kieran Kane and Don Bray among the many artists appearing there. If you end up at Mariposa, please come and say hello.  |
